Collar Styles and Hardware Options
Scroll through below to learn about all the different collar styles & hardware options I offer. If there's something you want but it isn't listed below, let me know! I’m always happy to take on custom orders, and chances are I have more options than listed below anyway! (Updating the website is often secondary and sometimes gets forgotten lol.)
Classic/Regular Collar with Plastic Buckle

Available in: All Widths (3/4", 1", 1.5", & 2" wide)
Classic/Regular Collar with Silver hardware

Available in: All Widths (3/4", 1", 1.5", & 2" wide)
Same as above, a classic/regular collar is your typical buckle collar that is adjustable and has a D-ring for tags and/or leash attachment. The classic regular with silver hardware comes in all widths, with a slight variation in style depending on width. The 3/4" and 1" wide buckles are pictured top right and bottom left. The 1.5" and 2" wide buckles are pictured top left and bottom right.
Classic/Regular Collar with Brass/Gold hardware

Available in: 3/4" and 1" wide Only.
Same as above, a classic/regular collar is your typical buckle collar that is adjustable and has a D-ring for tags and/or leash attachment. Brass buckles unfortunately only come in 3/4" and 1" wide for the time being. I haven't been able to find a reliable and affordable source for wider brass buckles yet. The slide and D-ring are solid brass, while the buckle is brass plated.
No Buckle Slide Collar

Available in: All widths - Silver or Brass
A no buckle slide collar operates similarly to a classic/regular collar in the sense it doesn't tighten when pulled. The main difference is that instead of a buckle, there is a slide in the center that does not open. No buckle slide collars are to be adjusted to slide on over your dog's head and then tightened once on the dog to ensure the proper fit. These are a nice lightweight/low-profile option. I like this style a lot on my small senior dogs due to the fact they're so lightweight.
Limited Slip Collar

Available in: All Widths (3/4", 1", 1.5", & 2" wide)
Limited slip collars are pretty much exactly what they're called; they operate like a slip collar but only "slip" a limited amount. These are a great alternative to martingales, especially for dogs with smaller necks since they are more adjustable than fabric martingales, or dogs that don't like a lot of weight around their necks, as they use less hardware, making them lighter than most martingales. These are a great option for dogs who are prone to slipping or backing out of their collar. I use these a lot on my personal dog just because I like the ease of slipping the collar on & off over his head.
O-Ring Tag Collar

Available in: 3/4" & 1" wide only - Silver or Brass
O-ring tag collars are simply decorative in the sense they're designed to just hold your dog's tag/s. While they're sturdy, they are not intended to be used to walk your dog. These are a great option if you use a harness or other training tool for walking your dog but want to keep your dog's tags on them at all times. (Silver tag collars come with a lightweight slide VS our typical heavier slide to help make it lighter weight; brass slides are the same as our other collars.)
Chain Martingale Collar

Available in: Silver in all widths & Brass in 3/4", 1", or 1.5" wide
All of our martingales come with an extra D-ring off to the side for tags or to clip your leash to when the martingale function is not needed. (Can very easily be made without upon request - just leave a note when checking out.)
Chain martingale collars are similar to limited slip collars in the sense that they tighten slightly when pulled, but only to a certain point. Often times I see people prefer the chain martingale because it tightens and loosens much smoother than a limited slip or fabric martingale. We offer these in all widths except the brass chain, which is not available in 2" wide. These are a great option for dogs who are prone to slipping or backing out of their collar.
Fabric Martingale Collar

Available in: All widths - Silver or Brass
All of our martingales come with an extra d-ring for tags or to clip your leash to when the martingale function is not needed. (Can very easily be made without upon request - just leave a note when checking out.)
Martingale collars, as mentioned above, are similar to limited slip collars. These are much like the chain martingale; however, with fabric martingale collars, you swap the chain out for a fabric loop. These are a great option for dogs who are prone to slipping or backing out of their collar. Also popular with dogs whose necks are wider than their heads (think sighthounds and similar breeds). Fabric martingale collars are the least adjustable option of the 3 styles (limited slip, chain martingale, and fabric martingale), while they ARE still adjustable, I recommend having the extra D-ring left off your collar if you have a small dog or puppy that is still growing. (Or even if you just don't see yourself needing it.)
Two-Toned Fabric Martingale Collar

Available in: All widths - Silver or Brass
All of our martingales come with an extra d-ring for tags or to clip your leash to when the martingale function is not needed. (Can very easily be made without upon request - just leave a note when checking out.)
For no extra charge, we offer what I like to call "two-toned" fabric martingale collars. It's the exact same as the fabric martingale above, except it's two different fabrics. To order a "two-toned" fabric martingale, simply pick out the collar that you want for the primary fabric, select or fill out all the details for your collar, and at the bottom before adding it to your cart in the notes box, simply leave me a note stating what fabric you would like for the "loop" of your fabric martingale.
Any Martingale or Limited Slip Collar + *Buckle Add On

Available in: Silver or plastic in all widths / Brass only in 3/4" or 1" wide
All example photos are fabric or chain martingale - limited slip example photos coming soon.
This is an optional add on/upgrade that we offer for all our martingale or limited slip style collars. You can find the listing for it here: Add a buckle to my martingale/limited slip collar *(Please note that you must purchase both a collar and the upgrade together.) This is a great option if you have a dog that has an aversion to things slipping on over their head. I DO NOT recommend this if you have a small dog or a dog that is still growing because adding a buckle drastically reduces the amount of room you have for adjusting your collar. (If unsure, feel free to contact me to discuss; I'm happy to answer any questions!)
Breakaway Tag Collar

Available in: 3/4", 1", & 1.5" wide - Silver or Brass (Buckle is always black)
Breakaway tag collars at first glance look similar to a classic/regular collar; however, the buckle on these collars pops open when approx. 8 lbs of pressure is applied. That means if your dog ever gets caught on something, the collar will pop open, allowing your dog to break free. We call this style a "tag collar" because the d-ring is only meant for holding tags since it pops open with only 8 lbs of pressure. This style is NOT intended for walking your dog. Comes in silver or brass hardware, but the buckle is always black plastic.
Leash Friendly Breakaway Collar

Available in: 3/4", 1", & 1.5" wide - Silver or Brass (Buckle is always black)
A leash friendly breakaway collar is similar to the breakaway tag collar described above; however, it comes with an extra D-ring on the opposite side of the breakaway buckle (plus a plastic strap keeper to help keep the D-ring in place), which allows you to use it with a leash by preventing the collar from popping open. This is a great option if you want a collar that is safe to leave on your dog but still want to be able to walk your dog with it.
