This listing is for a dog seatbelt attachment with your fabric choice (Choose from any of our many collar listings!). It is highly recommended to use this attachment with a harness and not a collar. All seatbelt attachments only come in 1" wide and silver hardware. Fits MOST vehicles. Does not work in Volvo vehicles.

Standard: 12"-22"
Extra Long:
Standard is recommended for a majority of dogs, the extra long option is primarily for extra large dogs, or dog's you want to allow extra room to move around (And you trust they won't get tangled up).
If your dog has never been tethered, or never been restrained in the car, I highly recommend a trial run with this attachment by driving around an empty parking lot to start. (Or any area that you deem safe to test it out at slower speeds and are able to quickly pull over if needed).

Collar Details: All of our collars are made with 100% cotton fabric (unless specified otherwise) that is then pre-washed and dried prior to construction. The fabric fully encases a polypropylene webbing, which gives the collar its strength. We stitch all our collars with dual-duty polyester thread multiple times at all stress points. We've been making our collars this way since 2014.
Collar Care: I personally toss my collar in the washer on cold and lay it flat to dry or hang it outside on a nice day (not in direct sun - this can cause fading)! If you have a collar with a lot of metal hardware, it's recommended to place the collar in a garment bag (or tie it inside a pillowcase). If your collar seems wrinkled, you can very carefully and quickly go over it with an iron on a low-medium setting (being very careful to avoid the hardware, especially if it's plastic). This is to be done carefully, as you don't want to melt or warp the interior webbing!
Recycling Program: While we aim to build our collars to last, cotton fabric is not the strongest and simply just does not last forever. If you have a collar that is starting to show signs of aging or you find you just don't like the fabric anymore (whatever your reason may be), but you notice the hardware is still usable, we do offer a recycling program! Simply send back your old, beat-up collar and receive a discount on a replacement collar.
